Get ready to spar
Five gear types are required for sparring: headgear, shin guards, a mouthguard, sparring gloves, and groin protection.
These specific brands and models are optional; you do not have to buy from our shop. Suitable gear you already own is welcome.
Suggested sparring gear
All gear available in the Rule of 3 Martial Arts Shop is Certified Good Gear. “Certified Good” is our own designation for gear we have either used or researched.

Padding covers the shin and instep. Choose a size that stays secure as you move.

Adult and kids’ options. Follow the fitting instructions. Bring your own mouthguard; we cannot provide, loan, or share it.

Padded knuckles and thumbs, an open palm, and an adjustable wrist strap. Ask your instructor about fit and drill suitability.

Adult men’s supporter with an athletic cup. If you choose a cup, bring your own; cups cannot be loaned or shared.
